§ 1 - Private internet community

Sailors-Forum.com is a private internet community with main focus on "Sailing and all related topics",
"providing information for Sailors", "providing a communication platform for Sailors" and "exchangeing contacts". 

It is a noncommercial community of interest by internet users.

§ 2 - Exclusion of any material

If an artist, respectively the appropriate right owner, should raise objection
against the use of his/her works within Sailors-Forum.com, the webmaster will
remove these works from its database immediately. The objection has to be
raised in written form. In advance the objection can be sent to
Sailors-Forum@telering.at.

§ 3 - Limited liability for links (Haftungsbeschränkung für Links)

The district court of Hamburg (reference number 312 0 85/98) decided on
12 May 1998 that by putting up hyperlinks to other websites, one can become
responsible for the content of these pages. This - so the court - can only
be avoided by an explicit dissociation of these contents.
Sailors-Forum.com contains hyperlinks to external websites and for every of these links
the webmaster Sabine Baumgartner wants to stress that she has no influence on the content
of the linked sites and it explicitely dissociates herself of these sites.
This statement is valid for all links - also those of banners and other
advertisement - on Sailors-Forum.com.

§ 4 - Legal information

The data shown on Sailors-Forum.com are partly subject to copyright
laws. Before downloading these data it can be necessary to obtain the approval
of the appropriate right owner. According to paragraphs 106 and 108 of the
German Law of Copyrights (Urhebergesetz, UrhG) it is a punishable offence to
download data which is protected by (copyright) laws. On behalf of
the webmaster Sabine Baumgartner no responsibility or liability for infringed trademark, copyright
or any other rights of third parties can be taken.

§ 5 - Privacy

None of your personal data will be passed on to third parties. However,
you agree to (non) regularly receive information about our offers by
e-mail or other ways of communication. You further agree to receive
at most once per week product offers of advertisement customers by e-mail.
